Responsibilities
• Maintaining the job scheduling database for the automated scheduling system to schedule the
execution of application and support batch jobs
• Performing additions, changes, or deletions to the scheduled batch workload as authorized by the
application developers or technical support teams
• Monitoring the execution of scheduled batch cycles to scheduling requirements, including
identifying and investigating overdue jobs
• Assisting the application team in performing problem identification and resolution including
production batch restarts and reruns and JOB failures
• Scheduling the Batch jobs on Autosys PRODUCTION and TEST Servers according to the request of
the clients Using Unix Perl scripting and JIL (JOB INFORMATION LANGUAGE)
• Adding, Changing and deleting the Batch jobs on the servers on basis of change Ticket.

• Changing the Job information language (JIL) for the Batch jobs.
• Creating application code for the application team to get Job failure notification
• Performing audit on the status changes of the jobs for application team
• Assisting the application team in maintain the jobs and on their queries
• Interacting with application teams and performing the tasks on the Batch jobs like FORCE START,
ON ICE, ON HOLD, OFF HOLD, OFF ICE, CHANGE STATUS, KILL, TERMINATE etc.
• Creating Reports of Batch Jobs using Unix commands
• Testing the Batch jobs on the TEST server and Deploying them in PRODUCTION Server
• Performing minor activates on the autosys servers.
• Working on Netcool tool and creating the tickets according to the severity level when the server is
down or facing issues to the platform and application teams.
• Finding the root cause of the issues in concern and following the documented procedure to resolve
the issues by contacting the right group of people.
• Updating the Knowledge database with the new issues and solutions
• Keeping the track of the action performed on the JOBS in the Share Point.
• Worked on Ticketing Tools ServiceNow as ServiceNow Admin for creation of groups and users in
service now
• Mapping the autosys code with in service now so that the alerts are directly routed to the application
team automatically
• Being Admin for ServiceNow tool we used to play major role in change management and Incident
management
• We were Part of the MIH calls when the autosys tools goes down or some major issue related with
autosys for Application team
