Responsible for Sourcing all raw materials for manufacturing operations,
Inventory management and Warehouse operations for the division. Annual
spend on raw materials $90M, managed 5 employees. Participated on the
integration team for 2 acquisitions into Carlisle FSD and in the
development of the TinJin China manufacturing start-up.
First year of operations: reduced raw material and freight costs by 1% and
achieved 7.8 inventory turns against a target of 4 turns.
Second year of operations: Negotiated long-term contracts, consignment
inventory programs and rebate programs on all strategic resins, capital
equipment purchases. Resulting in a cost savings of 2.6%.
Third year of operations: negotiated purchase of 10 new injection and one
