Responsibilities and Customer Experience
I was a Jet Ski operator at a family company in the Bahamas. I gained much experience which
allowed me to build my confidence especially when it came to interacting with visiting guests. It
also taught me to take control of situations when the manager was not present.
I was as a production assistant on a film set in the Bahamas. I assisted with painting sets, moving
props and set design. It was my first experience working with cameras, directors and actors.
I worked as a window cleaning tech at College Pro Window Cleaning. This position required
window cleaning and marketing for new customers. This was a good experience because it
allowed me to interact with customers and generate business for the company.
Taco Bell was a good experience because it was my first time working in a relatively fast paced
environment. I learned to work the food line, drive through, registering customer orders and
cash.
Costco was also a great experience because I gained confidence when it came to interacting with
customers. I was a packer and also worked assisting customers to and from their vehicles.
Canadian Property Stars is a lawn care company which involved doing door-to-door sales and
the service that I did during my time there was lawn aeration. I also aerated customers’ lawns
once I made the sale.
Achievements
Trinity College School: Dean’s list (>83%) from 2006- 2008. I played lead saxophone in the
Senior Jazz Band and the Trinity Winds Ensemble.
McMaster University 2010-2011: Cumulative Average (CA) 9.0 (77%). 2011-2012: CA 8.9
(76%).
Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) Silver medal in swimming and
volleyball (2007).
Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA) Three silver medals for
swimming 2006-2008
Bahamas National Swim Team 2004 – 2006.
Volunteer Experience
Trinity College School 2006 - 2008 – Participated in Christmas and Spring charity concerts to
help raise money for less fortunate kids.
Grand Bahama Humane Society Volunteer - Duties included cleaning kennels, litters and
walking dogs. This was a nice experience because I was able to interact with less fortunate
animals that did not have homes.
Bahamas National Trust: I participated in a number of beach clean- up days.
