FPGAs, voltage, currents, signals, electrical elements, and their laws

• Circuit Theory I & II (w/ lab): DC circuits, steady-state analysis, impedance concepts,

operational amplifiers, power calculations

• Introduction to Computer Science (w/ lab): solving computational problems using Python

• Digital Design: Use of logic gates, FSMs, and FPGA programming using Verilog HDL

Software:

• Python 3.2 (basic skills)

• Logisim: logic simulator which permits circuits to be designed/simulated using a

graphical user interface (basic skills)
