Management / Supervision Accomplishments:

Project Management Experience

Lorch Electronics : Managed from concept to finished product a three

man proto-type team, that included electronic packaging and

sheetmetal. Developed a new concept called Multi-Layer PCB and trained

on how to wire them, esp. for Sperry Rand. The unit had to be water

and air proof, and made of aluminum, with only 3 to 4 wires that would

be soldered. This (by hand) new all multi-level circuitry was the

first of its kind for the company. Sperry Phase Shifter became one of

the main products.

IE: Supervised a diversified group of 30 dept. employees on various

electro-mechanical government projects, while running a repro-dept.

Resolved personnel problems and was instrumental in resolving

harassment issues in the company.

BEI: Attended meetings with the VP and sketch out the customers

(medical / surgery) product concepts, and with a firm understanding,

head the project team with both Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to

work together and complete the project 1 wk before its due date. This

would also include a small group of production workers. Team work,

cost, time to market & safety were the focus.

Lucent: Managed a 5 member mobile design core team, to interface with

various associates. This was to keep everyone on the same page at all

times and resolve issues. This was also extended with the use of a

system camera to our new office in Japan. This was in addition to my

main CAD position which was promoted to CAD Mgr. In addition, was

part of the Cost Reduction Team that kept the cost of the entire Mini-

Cell below 10K then later 8K. In addition to all the above, I assisted

the other teams, which consisted each of a minimum of 10 people.

LSI: Instrumental in trouble shooting why a hot selling fixture was

failing (lens was cracking). Redesigned the product in Solidworks

after determining the cause

. Standardized, self-directed and reorganized the CAD Documentation

Department

. Headed & Self-directed team (Design Core and Delta) to interface with

various key project associates, production & engineering.

. Actively represented the Sys Interconnection & Schematic Design Team
