Alpine Chapel Worship Team 2011 2013

Experience

I performed as a keyboard player for the worship team at Alpine Chapel. I played almost every Wednesday and

most Sundays. On weeks that I played I would spend around 10 hours at the church for practices and

performances.

Saxophone Lessons Summer 2011

I taught saxophone lessons to an incoming fifth grade student. I had to communicate the basic concepts of

playing the instrument to him, how to read and interpret music, as well as teach him how to care for his

instrument.

Band President 2012 2013

I was elected Band President my senior year of high school. My duties included improving band spirit,

scheduling band activities, as well as moderating and updating a Facebook page that contained important

information and dates.

Lake Zurich High School 2009 2013

Education

I achieved High Honor Roll all 8 semester of high school, participated in Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble,

Marching Band, Nation Honor Society, Student Council, and Tri M Music Honor Society, and also played for

and helped found the Ultimate Frisbee Club Team.

Taylor University 2013 Present

I majored in Engineering Physics, for which I took mathematical, physics, and computer science courses, along

with a number of general education courses. I also played in the Taylor University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz

Combo.

Skills I am proficient in both the Windows and Macintosh operating systems. I can use many common programs such

as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. I can easily learn a new program and am usually able to teach

myself. I can program Excel and also have programming experience in the Python Language. I have problem

solving strategies and skills for programming.

I have proficient writing skills, learned from writing research papers in high school in AP English. I also have

experience with some technical writing from Engineering classes I took in college.

I am motivated, organized, neat, and hard working. I am a quick learner, able to communicate clearly, and

follow directions. I’m friendly, outgoing, and responsible, along with committed to doing a good job.
