Duties include management of the Quality Control, Stock Control, Production Control and Purchasing
Departments for a plant that manufactures electrical insulating gloves and sleeves for the utility industry.
Quality Control duties include ensuring finished goods are manufactured, tested, and inspected in
accordance with appropriate standards and customer specifications. Also in charge of maintaining
certification to the ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 Standard. Responsible for the successful transition
from the 1994 revision of the standard to the 2000 revision. Stock Control duties include packaging,
labeling, post-production operations, inventory, storage, order processing, and shipping. Production
Control and Purchasing duties include planning and scheduling production; purchasing raw materials,
production supplies, and packaging materials; ensuring all raw materials meet required specifications
prior to being accepted for use; planning, purchasing, and conducting acceptance sampling of resale
items. Implemented a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software system. Modules implemented
include General Ledger, Order Processing, Inventory Control, and Purchasing.
