Resume:

**th March, ****

To the hiring manager,

I’m writing this letter to state my support for Shahzad Ali in the field of carpentry.

Shahzad has been a part-time apprentice of mine for over a period of 4 years, from June 2010 to Jan 2014. Over the extent of this work tern he has progressed through various stages of development.

He started off as a helper, providing necessary tools and equipment to the professionals in the workshop. As he gained familiarity with the various tools I handed him the responsibility of actually managing tools himself. He became a carpentry labour.

After the first 18 months of the work he put in, he was upgraded to become an apprentice. Under my supervision and my other colleagues he started to manage responsibilities of an assistant supervisor, taking care of the shop whenever I and my colleagues were absent, checking for supplies and maintain the job site in general.

Through these mentioned experiences he has learned various skills like finish carpentry and woodwork: installation of doors, windows, cabinets and hardware; framing and rough carpentry, reading blueprints and other basic tasks that would have a general applicability etc.

Overall he is a punctual worker, who is also able to work independently and I hope that he is provided further opportunity to expand his abilities in this industry.

Lastly, I would have kept him in my company, however I have moved my business elsewhere, and hence I hope that he can continue to pursue his career in another setting. For further information contact me at acebbg@r.postjobfree.com.

Sincerely,

Lerry Hazelwood, Owner of Sunrise Carpentry
