My Phd degree research includes bulk data transmission in optical network. very familiar to optical network problem analysis, programming on Matlab. The Passive Optical Network (PON) system during research is programmed on C and C++, in both Linux or Windows system.
My research topics cover data transmission in communication network (optical and wireless). Passive Optical Network scheduling protocol design (MAC layer), file and packet transmission protocol design and dynamic circuit in optical network. Network structure including PON,SONET, with ROAM and DWDM transmission. Qos protocol analyzing for optical and wireless network, for various data type, including IPTV, Audio/Video, bulk data transmission.
Taken the course of advanced fiber optics, knowledge including optical network devices (amplifier, connector,transponders, etc.), fiber system cost-effect design.
Working as a OSN network journal reviewer
