Project Experience
• Epic Integrated Services/NextEra Energy/Embridge Oil, Wheatland Oil Pipeline
Automation Consultant responsible for full design of the automation system for 2 LACT units on
either side of the pipeline. Scope included P&IDs, I/O development, PLC programming, and
alarm/data schemes. Also in scope is the installation and testing of the PLCs.
• Shell Western E&P Inc, Pinedale Liquids Gathering Facility Automation Consultant working
on the Front-End Engineering and Design for the automation upgrade. Included correlation of
engineering documents with existing physical implementation and documentation of
discrepancies.
• Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority, Charles D. Lamb Energy Center Project engineer for
the design of continuous emission monitoring system. Design shelter to NEMA 3 standards.
Develop dual-point extractive sample handling system for compliance monitoring according to
federal standards. Scope includes all plumbing, control, electrical, and building specifications.
• Sinclair Refinery, Boiler 12 &Boiler 13 PLC and OIT Developer for the continuous emission
monitoring system. Develop Allen Bradley based PLC program along with Automation Direct
OIT panels to control shelter based safety systems, and convert all data into suitable formats for
the data acquisition and handling system. Scope includes calibration of all monitoring equipment
subject to 40CFR60 enforced by the State of Wyoming.
• Sinclair Refinery, Heater 005, Heater 105, Heater 110 PLC and OIT Developer for the
continuous emission monitoring system. Develop Allen Bradley based PLC program along with
Automation Direct OIT panels to control shelter based safety systems, and convert all data into

monitoring equipment subject to 40CFR60 enforced by the State of Wyoming.
• Edison Mission Energy, Walnut Creek Energy PLC and OIT Developer for the continuous
emission monitoring system. Develop Allen Bradley based PLC program along with Automation
Direct OIT panels to control shelter based safety systems, and convert all data into suitable
formats for the data acquisition and handling system. Scope includes calibration of all
monitoring equipment subject to 40CFR60 enforced by the State of California, 40CFR75, and
South Coast Air Quality Management District.
• Border Energy Associates LP, Black Hawk Station OIT developer for retrofit of data
acquisition system. Replace push button status panel with Automation Direct OIT panel on site
during on-line plant operations. Scope to include re-wiring and QA testing.
• Los Angeles County Sanitation District, Commerce Refuse to Energy Facility Software
developer for the data acquisition and handling system. Responsible for all parameters subject to
state, federal, and South Coast Air Quality Management District. Develop predictive analysis for
all limited parameters, and visually represent them on the HMI system.
• Calpine Corporation, Russell City Energy Center PLC and OIT Developer for the continuous
emission monitoring system. Develop Allen Bradley based PLC program along with Automation
Direct OIT panels to control shelter based safety systems, and convert all data into suitable
