inventory locations and over 100 work centers in ERP system that
drives all long term capacity planning and short term shop floor

with market dictated fixed customer lead time resulting in OTD
improvement of 20 percentage points in 18 months.

Materials Manager 2007-
2011
Responsible for every aspect of raw material / component procurement.
Participated in Senior Management Policy Deployment sessions that defined
strategic vision for entire Business Unit. Applied lean manufacturing
principles, a "Total cost of ownership" strategy and vendor consolidation

North-East Regional Operations Manager 2005-
2007
P&L accountability while responsible for day to day factory operations,
over-seeing Customer Service, Estimating, Purchasing, Scheduling, and
Shipping at three manufacturing facilities. Implemented team based
Customer Service structure and re-engineered order flow process to result
in 50% reduction in order cycle time with 20% less staff. Merged the
scheduling function at three facilities to maximize run length and minimize
setups resulting in 98% OTD. Implemented consistent performance
measurements at all three locations.
Production Supervisor 2003-2005
Supervised 38 union employees and coordinated the activities of workers
engaged in Sheeting, Cutting, folding, printing and finishing operations to
meet daily production budget on all three shifts. Implemented routine

packaging when required by customer.

Decreased packaging costs by 20% from a cost base of $900,000 while
decreasing average inventory by 43% and eliminating stock-outs.
Established supplier warehousing and consignment programs to reduce
inventory investment and insure availability of materials.
