OBJECTIVE
To obtain a rewarding and challenging position in a well reputed company
that offers varied job responsibilities in the field of
industrial/manufacturing engineering and will utilize my tactical as well
as managerial abilities.
WORK HISTORY
Industrial Safety Engineer
Delbryn Personal Care, Philadelphia, PA (2010-current)
. Utilized the 5S technique to organize and sustain proper paperwork for
residents at the facility (medical history, daily schedules), while
maintaining an independent work ethic.
. Inspected and sustained facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to
identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety
regulation compliance from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Department of Public
Welfare.
. Installed and periodically checked all safety devices on machinery and
equipment within the facility.
Instructor
Philadelphia Mennonite High School, Philadelphia, PA (2010-2012)
. Utilized and manipulated mathematical techniques to create an
understanding of Algebra, Calculus, and Business Mathematics.
Lead Student Instructor
North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State Univ., Greensboro, NC (2006-
2009)
. Instructed the application and manipulation of SolidWorks to upper-
class Industrial Engineer students in CAD/CAM.
. North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State Univ., Greensboro, NC
(2006-2009)
. Designed and manipulated a PLC program to operate a 3-axis stepper
motor motion controller for the purpose of controlled
biomanufacturing.
. Determined techniques for biomanufacturing using inkjet Drop On Demand
technology scaffolding various polymers on a substrate by jetting
fluid through a piezoelectric micro nozzle, ranging in diameter from
30 to 50 microns.
. Utilized a high-speed camera to view and manipulate the flow of micro
droplets of various fluids through a 30-and 50-micron nozzle to
determine the flow needed to create scaffolds of a fluid onto a
substrate.
. Created a database for input and output data of the DOD inkjet process
for future Lean production methods.
. Was responsible for the purchase, acquisition, handling, and
integration of expensive equipment, including high-speed CCD, ultra-
high speed CCD, and a 5-axis motion controller.
. Conferred with clients, affiliates, vendors, team members, and
management personnel regarding purchases, product and production
specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status while
maintaining an independent work ethic.
. Created CAD drafts in SolidWorks for an apparatus that was to be
patent-applied for, while recommending process improvements to the
design and conferred with supervisor for final CAD assembly.
. Utilized 5S technique for proper facility maintenance, order and
future facility layout flexibility.
. Led a team of six to understand proper facility protocol while
concurrently managing the tasks of each individual.
Mechanical Engineer
North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State Univ., Greensboro, NC (2004-
2005)
. Led a team of 13 team members to design, develop and assemble a frame
for a Mini Baja vehicle.
. Provided unique designs that were within SAE safety specs in the form
of hand-sketched drawings and the Pro/Engineer software package.
. Utilized Pro/Engineer FEA to determine stress points on the frame
design for modification.
. Utilized knowledge of manufacturing processes to mill, drill, turn,
and mig/tig weld frame parts together in the forms of a mock-frame
made from conduit pipes and competition frame made from chrome
molybdenum steel.
. Created budget tables and Gantt charts for cost control and deadlines,
pertinent to the required materials, parts and assembly of the Mini
Baja vehicle.
. Maintained an independent work ethic while completing multiple tasks.
