Project

Title : HUMAN SAFETY DURING FIRE ACCIDENTS IN TRAIN

USING PLC ( Programmable Logic Controller)

Objective: My project hardware model is developed to safeguard the

people from the fire in train.

The trains are moderate vehicles used for transporting

people and goods. Because of failure in routine maintenance system or by

the activities of illegal social elements, mainly fire accident occurs in

AC coaches. Presently, our Indian Railways Doesn't use any sophisticated

fire prevention methods. So we proposed "HUMAN SAFETY DURING FIRE

ACCIDENTS IN TRAIN USING PLC" for monitoring, automatic sprinkling,

cautioning and preventing of fire in running trains. The fire in AC coaches

can be identified by the smoke detector then the motor will automatically

starts to run. When the fire detects in train, the alarm automatically get

the signal from the motor for indicating other coaches that there is an

emergency. Then the PLC takes corresponding actions for the deluge valve to

open the sprinkling system to spray the water with high pressure to let

down the fire off.
