Dear Sir or Madam, August 6th 2014
As a recent graduate of Public Relations from St. Clair College and through the years of vigorous
studying I have learned I have a talent for communicating with a wide array of people. For this reason
alone I have taken job opportunities in customer service. Engaging with individuals has always been a
delight for me - especially alongside a working team environment. To further a career where both of
these concepts go hand-in-hand is something I am eager to begin!
Throughout my final year as a PR student I was placed as an intern with Cypher Systems Group
(CSG), a large umbrella company for various insurance brokers. Upon entering CSG, I was exposed to
target/niche marketing, community engagement and hours of research to provide profitable
opportunities and brand awareness for the organization.
As a growing PR practitioner, I have learned to take key messages and deliver them
comprehensively through various mediums to an audience – whether it is heard, seen, shared, or read.
Throughout the PR program my corporate writing, public speaking, and writing for media skills have
evolved to a level where I can confidently communicate on the many platforms required of a
Communications professional. I have a passion to learn from professionals and, in turn, grow into one.
I am highly interested in the Entry-Level Marketing position within Mastermind Marketing and
am available to begin work immediately; I welcome the opportunity for new experiences, therefore,
relocation is not an issue for me. Thank you for considering me as a possible candidate and I look
forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Daeca Renaud
