TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING, Tampa, Florida 2009 -2014

Director of Information Technology / Senior Systems Engineer

**Engineered the datacenter and managed the IT department staff for the Tampa Bay Lightning, while

bringing into focus the business goals for the company.

• Designed and deployed the entire IT infrastructure at the Tampa Bay Times forum,

including: servers, storage, desktops, network and wireless, cellular and telecommunications.

• Consolidated datacenter into a 100% virtualized environment using VMware and Cisco

UCS in order to save on OPEX costs (power and cooling), including daily maintenance.

• Protected critical business assets by developing private and public cloud architectures for

offsite disaster recovery and business continuity.

• Created high density wireless network to enhance the fan experience and drive mobile

applications and ticket / concession sales.

• Managed the IT helpdesk team to ensure support of corporate SLAs.
