from Virtual University Lahore Pakistan with CGPA 3.22

SEMESTER PROJECTS DESIGNED

1. Electronic English Dictionary (C/C++)

EED is dos based electronic dictionary developed in C/C++ in 3rd

semester. Mainly file handling was used in it. For each word there is

detailed text file encompasses grammar definition antonyms and

synonyms and on entering the particular word first program searches in

repository that word is included in the dictionary if yes then go for

that particular file and fetch the info on the screen.

2. Art Gallery Management Software(VB6 MS ACCESS and Data Reports)

This software was developed in VB6 MS ACCESS and data reports. I wrote

this application for DBMS course. This software maintains artists,

suppliers, gallery owner info and also generates invoices. User can

also print comprehensive reports using this software.

3. Marriage Hall Management System (VB.Net MS ACCESS and Crystal

Reports.Net)

MHMS is developed in vb.net access and crystal reports.net. This

software maintains the marriage /engagement and small parties from

inquiry to payment. We can easily maintain the customer information,

food menus, and invoices, marriage hall employees on different levels

like administrator, manager and at simple user level. It also provides

comprehensive reports on annual profit and loss summary, employee

history, customer info and history etc.

4. Student Management System (VBA MS ACCESS)

SMS is developed in VBA MS ACCESS. This software maintains the student

information and their respective courses and departments. It also

generates customized reports in MS ACCESS.

5. Echo Server and Echo Client (VB6 Win Socket programming)

Echo server and Echo Client are developed in VB6 using socket

programming. In this software the client will send its name to the

server and server will append "Yes" with the name send by the client.

After that, server will send back the name with appended "Yes.

Usability Testing, Monkey Testing, Black Box Testing, User Interface

(UI) Testing etc.

2. Responsible for Smoke Testing each build and a detailed testing in the

Test environment and Pre-Production environments and certifying the

Production deployment.

3. Involved in creating Test Scenarios, writing and implementing the Test

Cases using design document and functional specifications.

4. Used Bug/Defect Tracking Tools Mantis for requirement management,

planning, execution, defects tracking and reporting.

5. Use automation testing tool "Selenium" to test the funtionality of web

applications.

6. Participate in project meetings to understand business requirements.

8. Tested huge number of test cases for all phases.

9. Regression testing after fixes has been applied etc.
