Projects
Water Table Contouring (Spring 2012)
-Worked independently to gather data on a series of wells which resulted in a series of contour maps for
water table elevation, water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and TDS
Molybdenum Mine Runoff (Summer 2011)
- Worked in team to analyze runoff. Performed pH, electrical conductivity, sulfide and nitrate concentration
tests and examined effects of mine runoff and hydrothermal alteration in surrounding watershed
GPS/GIS Mapping (Summer 2011)
- Worked in two person team resulting in the production of a usable map in ArcGIS delineating relevant
vegetation cover, rock units, hydrological features, and geological features with corresponding elevations
GPR Cross Section (Spring 2011)
- Created subsurface cross-sectional map of a river channel and surrounding area including underlying
sediments and soils for use in river flow, migration, sedimentation, and channel development. Data was
collected with a team in the field by means of ground penetrating radar and total station measurements
