Summary of Qualifications
I am currently in a teaching position with Spring High School. I spent two
years at MultiCAM, Inc., prior to my current teaching position. I was a
High School teacher for 6 years in Pasadena, instructing classes in
Engineering and Architectural Graphics, utilizing 2D and 3D AutoDesk
software. Prior to my teaching position, I spent several years in
industry, mostly in a mechanical design/drafting capacity. Some of these
positions have included teaching software to business professionals, as
well as teaching at the post secondary level. I have managed up to 30
employees at a time in some of these positions. I have several years of
retail experience, including management positions. I have volunteered for
the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the past 18 years for the Facilities
Services committee, and have managed multiple personnel in my position
there. I am computer literate in many software packages, including
Microsoft Office Suite, and am a quick learner. I have the ability to
operate all of the following programs: Mac and PC platforms (Windows 2K,
XP, NT & 7), Microsoft Office Suite, Paint, SignLab, CasMate, AutoCAD,
AutoCAD Mechanical, AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop, Inventor Professional,
SolidWorks & ProEngineer Wildfire.

Principles of Architecture and Construction, COOP, and Entrepreneurship,

My current job as a teacher at Spring High School has me teaching 3 preps
to 5 classes daily. I teach three classes of Principles of Architecture &
Construction, which introduces students to the basics of Architecture and
Construction, preparing them to follow a career path in either direction.
It includes instruction in AutoCAD, Architectural History, and basic
construction practices. Students follow a course for part of the year
based on the Geometry in Construction program, which pairs Geometry with
the real world application of construction. We are currently working on a
chicken coop for the Agriculture classes. The Entrepreneurship class
teaches basic principles for starting and maintaining a business. The COOP
class has me supervising students who work half the day and go to school
half the day.

My primary function was the installation and maintenance of the CadCam
machinery produced and supported by my employer. These include CNC Table
Routers, Plasma Cutters, Lasers, Water Jets and Knife Cutters. The
installation and support of these machines entails mechanical and
electrical installation and troubleshooting, as well as training on the
machines and our proprietary software. I also taught classes with our
proprietary CAD/CAM software. I was responsible for aiding in product
demonstrations for prospective buyers.

school students. Software used was the AutoDesk ADA 2011 Suite, including
