RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Computational Economics (Feb, 2013 – August, 2013) – Independent Research

• Built a Mathematical Program for Arrow – Debreu Market Model in Economics using game – theoretic properties.

• Analyzed the model using Auction and Graph theory with Multiplicative Weight Update algorithm to find

equilibrium prices.

• This research has its application in the field of Computer Science(Online Adword Games) and its importance in the

field of Economics. (Non-Linear Optimization, Game Theory, Graph and Auction theory)

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Projects

Predictive Analysis of Tweets (2013)

• Designed an automated multi-threaded program to retrieve current and future tweets and re-tweets based

on a search query and displayed it on web User Interface.

• Created a graph that displays the variation of tweets and re- tweets overtime.

• Analyzed, transformed the data and perform regression analysis to identify a predictive model for the

behavior of tweets and examined the model to see if the model follows Power Law or Log Normal

distribution. ( Social Network Analysis, Machine Learning, Statistical Prediction Modelling, Visual

Studio, Twitter4j, R)

Grouped GPU Programming (2013)

• Implemented a GPU-accelerated simulation, which resulted in a 10x performance improvement over

multi-threaded code performance. OpenCV, MPI and CUDA

Yelp Data Set Challenge (Current)

• Currently working on yelp dataset to predict the user preferences. (Python mincemeat map-reduce and R static

computational tool)

Restaurant Reservation Application (2013)

• Developed a website to reserve table, order and keep track delivery to customers using AngularJS, CSS3 and

bootstrap with Jersey and Jackson Restful web service.

• Implemented a chat system for online customer service and support using SocketIO.

Analysis of Dynamic Routing Protocol (2011)

• Designed and developed an application that displays dynamic router updates and calculates the shortest path to the

destination.

Application was based on Distance Vector routing algorithm that implements Bellman Ford’s equation.

• C - Dev C+

+ IDE.

Simulated the working of Steam Engine (2009)

• Designed and developed a graphical application that simulates and animates the internal dynamics of a steam

engine.

• the graphical UI displays the 3-D view of a steam engine and enables the user to interactively control

engine parameters under simulation. C++, OpenGL library.
