• The scope of our project was to present a personalized web-based multimedia search

engine implemented in the java programming language.

• The project guarantees reduced response time, improved search results, interactive

multimedia searching, support of context-based user groups.

Mini Project- Automation of Placement Division of College Jan 2012 – Apr 2012

• The project was to automate all the placement divisions of the college. The system

deals with the registration of students and different companies and thereby enabling

the placement officer to manage all the activities over the web, decreasing the time

involved in the usual recruitment process.

• Companies can register in the site and those students who satisfy the company criteria

can attend the online aptitude test and the selected students can attend the next level

of recruitment. This decreases the overhead cost and time involved in the current

recruitment process.
