Objective: To meet the electrical design or electrical construction needs
of your company
Engineering Experience:
01/06/2014-05/15/2014, TKS/TKI, Tessenderlo Kerley Services/International,
Carlsbad, N.M. Performed electrical design on petrochemical plants in Ponca
City, OK, NCRA, McPherson, KS, Chemical plant, Hanford, CA, CaTS plant,
Barrick, NV. Most effort has been on ammonia polysulfide plant next to
Conoco-Phillips refinery, Ponca City in replacing a transformer and adding
pumps, instrumentation and a new skid mounted reactor manufactured by TKS.
Specifications and request for quotations for the transformer,
instrumentation and pump motors were written. For the other projects,
single line diagrams were checked with necessary revisions to be made by
drafting, mainly for motor control centers. Vendor submittals were checked
carefully with suggested revisions for all projects. With all projects,
coordinated with vendors, wrote specifications, originated requisitions,
originated panel schedules, analyzed bids from vendors, performed ETAP
studies.
02/2012 to10/2013, Willbros Engineering, Tulsa, OK, Senior Electrical
Engineer. Performed electrical design for a CO2 compressor station at an
ammonia nitrogen plant associated with a petroleum refinery, consisting of
four 4000 HP compressors, two 1500 HP blower motors controlled by a VFD,
cooling tower pumps and fans at 4160 Volts, and smaller motors at 480
Volts. Used ETAP for electrical system study. Coordinated with the client
and contractor. Designed a substation for a 10 MVA, 69 KV/4160 V
transformer supplying large pump motors and a 500 KVA, 4160/480 Volt
transformer for small pump motors and control building power, for a
pipeline in Indiana. Wrote a specification for two 3000 HP 4160 Volt pump
motors at 4160 Volts, and smaller motors at 480 Volts. Coordinated with the
client and contractor. Designed a substation for a 10 MVA, 69 KV/4160 V
transformer supplying large pump motors and a 500 KVA, 4160/480 Volt
transformer for small pump motors and control building power. Wrote a
specification for two 3000 HP 4160 Volt pump motors for a ethanol pipeline
project near Beaumont, TX.. Specified a 50 kW backup generator for control
buildings and metering skids for a petroleum pipeline in Pennsylvania. Went
on a site visit to the Toledo,OH area for gathering information for an
expansion to Buckeye Pipeline for crude oil and distillate product with
large 4160 Volt main line pump motors and 480 Volt booster pump motors and
associated instrumentation.
