Comprehensive assessment of children with developmental disabilities to determine
needs and set developmentally appropriate goals.
Select and modify activities as per the needs of children with disability to help them learn
motor planning and compensatory strategies to achieve optimal functional efficiency
within the limits of their cognitive and physical capabilities.
Recommend low cost furniture modification at school and at home for the child to
achieve maximum independence and allow better accessibility and ease for parents to
care for their child.
Help children improve decision-making, problem solving, motor planning, reasoning,
memory, sequencing, co-ordination and perceptual skills through various fine and gross
motor activities in individual as well as in group therapy.
Provide training in developmental therapy and supervision in therapy techniques to
mothers.
Organize programs and social activities for children with developmental disabilities to
