SAFETY DIRECTOR 2013 to 2014

Ensuring the safety of the work place; coordinated, administered and implemented comprehensive

training programs in occupational industrial and environmental safety. Trained safety techs on writing and

reviewing all work permits. Responded and reported accidents to evaluate current best practices and

recommend change where necessary. Lead and direct all safety committee meetings and functions.

SUPERVISOR

Provide technical knowledge and expertise and supervision for erecting, dismantling and scaffolding

construction and housekeeping services for all refinery facilities. To ensure the scaffolding procedure,

specification standards are included and followed, in work scaffolding erecting, construction and

dismantling. To inspect scaffolding erections prior to use. Provide an inspection program for all scaffold

structures to ensure that minimum safety requirement are met. To ensure all scaffold materials are in

good condition and free from defects. Scaffolds have attached indicating (Tag) safe or not to be used.

Plan and supervise the daily of scaffolding activities for all plant facilities. Contributed to the preparation of

annual operating Maintenance budgets. Ensures that all Maintenance Scaffolding Services are carried out

within budget. Provided 24 hour, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, "on-call" business and Maintenance

support for asset related issues and provides scaffolding support in the event of plant emergencies.

Participated in the planning of major maintenance and main shutdowns. This includes highlighting specific

items of equipment which require Maintenance Scaffolding Services involvement, assessing resources,

FIELD SAFETY COORDINATOR

investigations, including attending hearings and/or review meetings and coordinating and reporting on any
