PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
DJ’S Air-conditioning and Appliance Part Time
Work on air conditioning unit, rewiring the system conducting electrical fault finding tests to determine the
problem. Testing and replacing fan motors, fan relays, heat sequencers high pressure low pressure
switches, float switches contactors, capacitors, heat pumps, compressors and changing filters. Checking
the split system for Freon and determining whether system needs to be charged or Freon needs to be
recovered. Recovering Freon or Pump down the system, to carry out the necessary work that needs to
be done for example change out compressors, evaporator, pumps, filter driers, replacing pipes and
cleaning and replacing evaporator coils. Working on refrigeration equipment changing evaporator and fan,
condenser, testing thermal disk fan speed control, timers. Using the brazing equipment . Doing standing
pressure and evacuation test.
Dec 2001- March 2012 (Sprint/Ericsson)
Title: Engineer Support Specialist II
Duties: Performing shakedowns at various cell sites and collecting data. Carrying out CW test at various
locations where new cell sites are proposed. Driving to various cell sites monitoring signal strength and
quality using grayson equipment and also use pilot scanner to detect pilot pollution or power level
inconsistencies. Performing EVDO and voice testing at cell sites and customers location to determine if
through put speeds are good or bad. Using windcatcher and actix software to analyze standard plots for
both voice and EVDO according to group specs of drivetest data such as PN, Ec/Io, FER, and Tramsit
Power in order to determine what is the cause of the issue. Using Grayson test equipment to check hard
hand offs intersystem soft hand off, soft hand off and softer hand off, drop calls and access failures at
Sprint cell sites. Test new sites to put on air and check proper Pn allocation per sector. Test multi
carrier/additional carrier sites and check for proper channels. Doing site audits, checking antenna
orientations, downtilts, cable and jumper connection and general condition of sites. Carry out inbuilding
tests using Invex software, and the humming bird test equipment to check RF coverage, in order to
determine whether repeaters are needed in various buildings. Analyzing cell site performance data using
Falcon, Soda, and Health Page to determine how the cell sites are functioning.
