Xtera and Alcatel platforms, and SDH networks infrastructure that consist of several

vendors like Siemens 7080, 7060 and Turin T2000

• Control and be responsible for Maintenance Windows associated with links on the

networks across the ARCOS ring and CFX rings

• Provide support and manage the integration of network monitoring tools and the

TNMS network Management software.

• Create and consolidate of NOC operational procedures and engineering

documentation for SDH and Ethernet services.

• Provide training to other NOC Engineers in fault isolation and resolution procedures

for ADM and DWDM components.

Position: Network Operation Center Engineer.

As an Engineer the main task is to give support at the NOC, Maintenance windows

coordination (GiE, SDH, DWDM and IP), new Circuits testing and commissioning, and

problem troubleshooting to all the international and domestic costumers. Process

optimizations, including administrative tasks are carried on too.

COMCEL/CLARO S.A. (America Movil-TELMEX) – Barranquilla, Colombia (December

2007-July 2010)

Position: Transmission Network Designer Engineer Fiber Optics Group.

Planning and Development for the fiber optic network, migrations, upgrades and expansions

of it. Fiber optic new projects across the country. New technology implementation like Gigabit

network for 3G equipment. DWDM/SDH network design and optimize. GigaEthernet

channels design for the backbone IP network. MetroEthernet services for the 3G services.

Web/PHP/MySQL applications design for SDH and DATA work orders for the company.

Huawei SDH/IP/ASON knowledge equipment. Alcatel-Lucent (SR 77XX) Caribbean Network

Plus I designed Transport Intranet using LAMP to handle SDH and DATA orders, outlet
