Job Description: My responsibilities included validating and managing inventory, as well as, keeping records
of all incoming and outgoing shipments. My staff received all shipments and scheduled distributions to all 15
branches via truck. Overall, I was responsible for 3 different warehouses, managed 15 direct reports and guided
a total of 35 warehouse employees on daily tasks and operations. I conducted yearly performance reviews,
including hiring and terminations. Additionally, I trained employees on OSHA specific fork-lift operations and
managed fork-lift maintenance schedules. Finally, I also handled walk-in customers to ensure that their sales
and purchase orders were completed to their satisfaction.
Accomplishments:
I doubled efficiency by re-designing the warehouse shelving and tagging operations for inventory
management.
I developed an innovative, yet, easy to use, stock reporting tool, dubbed “pick-sheets,” using Microsoft

14 people, including freight loaders and administrative clerks. Additionally, I supervised a defect department
and worked with vendors to re-ship defect merchandise.
Accomplishments
I increased throughput by creating small teams of two or three people with a dedicated role. This
allowed for quicker turnarounds through the warehouse floor.
Working with vendors, I organized an appointment based shipping schedule that eliminated missed truck
shipments.
