Work History:

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center Apheresis Tech 1 January 2013 to present

Donor phlebotomy on teens to geriatrics with 16/17 gauge needles. Drawing whole blood and blood components

through apheresis 6.0 Trima accel machine. I performed field blood typing in mobile phlebotomy setting. I obtained

vital signs including blood pressure, temperatures, pulse rates and hematocrit levels. I used customer service skills and

assisted donors with a reaction.

San Jacinto Methodist Hospital Phlebotomist PRN August 2012 to January 2013

Venipunctures performed on adolescent, infant and geriatric. Heel sticks, finger sticks, urine samples and syringe

draws. Labeling and forwarding to lab. I used customer service skills with patients and family members.

American Medical Response EMT-B March 2000 to September 2004

I practiced emergency life saving techniques and drove an ambulance in high stress situations. I obtained vital signs

and attached & monitored EKG leads to patients. I administered injections under supervision of paramedic. I used BLS

and CPR.
