HIGHLIGHTS OF QUALIFICATIONS

As a 2nd man on a printing press, I perform most of the tasks listed below in daily basis.

Changing over the machine parameters according to the job ticket

Doing preventive maintenance work according to the scheduale

Figuring out mechanical problems

Replacing machine parts when needed

using Forklifts

Using Indestrial Powered Tools

And ofcourse lifting and moving objects manually.

Preparing the machine for the job to be run,getting and staging printing plates,building

Liners on Ink fountain and putting in Inks. putting in knockout blankets, running the right

coating, pulling the right stock and stack papers or open a skid to feed into the machine.

Once the machine gets going I assure the smooth run of the machine by assisting the Press

Man during run.

Doing the end of shift rituals like re stocking ink,putting away used materials in their

designated spot, wipe down the press, sweep press floor and cat walks

Organising the Press floor and some more the day brings in.
