Information Analysis of Organizational Systems
• Planned the development of a social media portal similar to Facebook for a mock music industry company using
the systems development lifecycle. Elicited business requirements from employee/sponsor interviews
• Determined the feasibility of the new system based off of estimated cost/benefit analysis
• Generated DFD’s to the primitive level and ERD’s to the third normal form, along with an Input-Output Design
Capstone project
• Worked as the system analyst on a 4 person team to design and code a mobile app for an outside client on the iOS
platform to detect heightened levels of inebriation in the user through motion and balance tracking
Open Source Applications
• Worked with a group of 4 to construct an online education service similar to Blackboard
• Researched, tested, and evaluated a range of open source file transfer/synchronization, network monitoring, and
web hosting programs. Implemented the file sharing/data synchronization portion of the overall application
Database Management
• Created a relational database for a mock apartment complex, which included an ERD model of the database
• Created tables, set relations, inserted and updated data using SQL. Wrote select statements to answer questions
based on the model
