Manager of Database Administration and Infrastructure

Directed the global database (75) and applications (350) environments/tools

with staff in Europe, Asia Pacific and US supporting several global

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and HR / Payroll (primarily

Oracle E-Business Suite).

. Co-developed the strategy for global ERP consolidation using Oracle's E-

business suite systems and the early stages of implementation by providing

the architecture design and support of site transitions. Designed new ERP

environment in Oracle database 10g with Oracle ERP E-Business suite

11.5.10 running on a two node Oracle RAC cluster using ASM file systems.

Architected the infrastructure design for the ERP system to be

transitioned from Linux to Solaris on SUN M9000s/M8000s.

. Established procedures for space management, monitoring and major

improvements in availability through ETIL controls, change management,

problem management, 24x7x365 on site/on call support, database

architecture changes and system tuning which improved overall system

performance and availability from the 80% range to upper 90's. Also,

test environments.

. Completed the multi-state move of the primary operational data center

. At DSC, an early Oracle ERP E-Business suite customer implemented the

at least 25 times.
