I am at its Wealth division in NYC, which is engaged in the function that is
responsible for calculation of brokerage, salary, incentive etc for the sales
workforce. The application is called Sales Compensation.
The Sales Compensation application is based around several technologies like ASP, VB6,

The RBS maintains a corporate umbrella website through which users can either select
the services they would like to receive, or go to other websites of its subsidiaries.
The scope of the project was to re-write the website written in Classic ASP to
ASP.NET/C#.

. Study and analysis of the business layer (/logic) of the previous application which
was written as COM dlls.

The scope of the project was conversion of web application of Monster.co.uk from
Classic ASP to ASP.NET/C#. Our team had access to the site's ASP pages and SQL
Databases and its structures, but had no access to the source code of the COM
components.

Worked onsite on American Express location in Noida, India. American Express calls
itself an engine of commerce that provides innovative payment, travel and expense
management solutions for individuals and businesses of all sizes.
Our project's objective was to create an application to capture the data from its
mainframe, store it into our local system, and then use the data for various
analytical purposes. All this had to be done without having to have a direct access to
the mainframe database. However we had access to a third party front-end application
(.exe) that could pull the data from the mainframe.
Responsibilities:
. Writing complex queries to pull data from multiple tables, based on the requirements
for the analytical tool that we were making.
