Position: Senior Electrical Technician
• Conduct technically hands-on PPM & reactive fault-finding /
maintenance, working on complex industrial control systems and
plant both mechanically and electrically. This includes PLC’s,
VSD’s, SCADA, BMS, HVAC, relay logic and equipment repairs.
• Senior Authorised High Voltage Person, responsible for the
distribution network of twenty eight 11KV substations and four
3.3 KV chiller units.
• Maintenance and installation of all HV & LV switchgear and
associated distribution networks, plus Power Factor Correction
systems.
• Project manage and commission on-going new installations, and
the recruitment of contract staff and ordering of material &
equipment. This involved critical management planning and
implementation, in order to complete within limited timescales.
PERIOD: JANUARY 2002 – APRIL 2005

& beverage, plastic moulding, car parts and cable manufacturing
