PROJECT PROFILE:
Project: Cursor movement using 6th sense technology.
DESCRIPTION: This project enables the movement of the mouse based on the color of the
object, placed in front of the camera. The idea is for users to control their cursor pointer
simply by moving their color object, without touching the laptop. A fast and robust method
that can trace the position of object movement is Achieved. The solution is achieved in four
steps,
1. The color of the moving object are detected by the camera.
2. The intensity level of color of moving object will be calculated.
3. An interface between mouse pointer and program technique is applied for minimizing
computational cost.
4. A object tracking algorithm is applied to find out the moving object position. The pointer
movement has been designed in Image processing system using MATLAB. The device
works successfully, the response is quick and accurate positioning is achieved.
Mini Project: PCB layout design using ORCAD
Drawing the schematic of a simple electronic circuit and designing the PCB layout using
ORCAD.
Diploma Project: Blind curve detecting by using RF signal.
Detecting the blind curves in the road by using RF signal and applying brakes accordingly.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
Participated in National Level Technical Symposium (Circuitrix) held at SSN College of
engineering and won SECOND PRIZE.
Participated in state level drawing competition and received first prize.
