01/2009-03/2014 Southern Precision Machining Shelbyville, Tennessee

-Creating CMM programs to customer specifications for new projects, as

well as editing existing programs to meet new customers requirements

while meeting aerospace specs. Created programs with and without

physical part.

-Probe calibration and alignment(simple and complex) before each different

part was ran. Some parts required to the use of aircraft coordinates not

machine coordinates.

-Used blueprints, mylars, sketches, 2D models, and 3D models to obtain

dimensional information for part programming.

-Created sketches of parts using AutoCAD software for 2D models, also

used Catia software for 3D models.

-Created setups and inspected First Article and in-process parts using Excel

CMM programs.

-Used Microsoft Excel to export CMM data, to create and edit FAI reports.

-Using excel, I completed FAI reports and submitted them for customer buy

off approval.

-Performed monthly calibration of inspection tools such as calipers and

micrometers.

-Approval of in-process parts as well as First Articles parts using various

inspection tools(CMM, calipers, micrometers, gages, protractors, etc).

-Providing engineering department with dimensional data from model or

sample parts in order to improve or create parts.

-Receiving and inspection of raw stock material.

-Reviewing and approving certification from venders also reviewing and

approving FAI reports to submit to customers.

-Performed internal audits and kept employee training records.

-Part marking according to customer and aerospace specifications.
