* Provided help desk and network operations support with elevated help desk administrator account.
* Monitored and maintained the Forward Operating Base communications network which included switches, routers, taclanes, radios, computers, Cisco VOIP phones and FMV/screens.
* Planed, supervised, coordinated and provided technical assistance for the installation of Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System(CENTRIX), and Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) cables
* Installed computers and Voice over IP phones throughout the entire FOB in order to expand the communication infrastructure on 3 different networks including SIPR, CX-I, and NIPR.
* Maintained network infrastructure by resolving issues such as creating and terminating user accounts on tactical SIPR, CX-I and NIPR exchange services, and active directory for all of the provinces located in East Afghanistan.
* Monitored quality of work and performance to ensure excellent signal support was provided to over 5000 users
* Ensured incoming replacement crew members had elevated accounts needed to perform FOB tasks and enhanced their technical, tactical, and networking skills.
