Initially engaged a contract to collaborate and support the Dutch subsidiary. After the first successful, collaborative year extended
consulting engagement; thus expanding support for affiliates across the Benelux. Currently serving as freelance / contractor for the
Benelux affiliate while the company searches for a suitable outsourced company.
In the capacity of Analyst (jr) in Amsterdam, assumed responsibility for support, tracking and administering a multi billion
dollar operation.
Stepped up to the challenge of resolving serious problems and site moves.
Collaborated with the Director of Finance and Managing Director to institute new site.
Hands on as engineer starting the pilot for the transition from Lotus Notes client to Microsoft Outlook which took more than a
weekend and kicked off for their Belgian affiliate.
Led the Tech Refresh for the Dutch affiliate, this was a major hardware deployment with a roll out for all the tested and
necessary applications, programs and OS upgrade.
The transition and upgrade of the Telecom was also part of this site move and it concerned the upgrade as well as well as HW as
for the users (desk phones)
Coordinated for the 2nd site to go live and the old PBX (Siemens) and the Avaya was being replaced by the Cisco for usage of
VOIP.
The project lead for the local move / upgrade went through me from inventory / talking to users / documenting and working close
with the international project and operation managers to make the project a success.
Also 3rd parties (Providers) needed to be guided right and kept well informed which was done excellent!
The local move was done from the site in Lijnden (Mimex) to the Badhoevedorp site (Old KLM) were all the cabling was obselete
and needed to be replaced.
