Headhunter/Technical Recruiter (Candidate/Client Advocate)

Headhunter responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process.

Our current group evolved from the recruiting team of SynerG, when the

company left the recruiting industry. I helped to form a partnership of

veteran industry professionals responsible for recruiting IT, Engineering

and Executive candidates for contract and permanent positions located

nationally. I specialize in highly technical skill sets with limited

assignments from other diverse business units. I identify passive and

often 'invisible' talent as well as active candidates. Conduct

interviews, and any necessary follow up to assess special skills,

logistics or concerns. Present candidates to hiring managers with an

overview of qualifications, availability, compensation, etc. Coordinate

interviews, check references, extend offers, diffuse counter offers and

help facilitate relocation when required. Maintain ATS and company's

database as well as records OFCCP and other government compliance reports

as needed. I have also spent a total of seven months at various client

sites performing recruiting on demand services as well as mentoring

internal HR staff with sourcing and recruiting techniques as needed.

Senior Technical Recruiter

Position was primarily responsible for filling permanent / contingent

roles for targeted clients although we also handled some contract,

project based work as well. Talent acquisition accomplished through

relentless network building and headhunting of senior niche candidates in

limited highly competitive candidate spaces.

Extensive IT recruiting for Senior Software Engineers (all Microsoft and

Java flavors), Architects, Quality Assurance and Test Engineers, Database

Developers and DBA's, Network Engineers and many other IT skill sets.

I also had several opportunities to function as a client facing

recruitment consultant through extended corporate engagements at client

sites performing lead recruiting duties. Depending on the assignment, my

responsibilities could range from headhunting a difficult skill set or be

much more involved, including development of recruiting processes,

structuring referral programs, hiring, on boarding, mentoring,

Sr. Technical Recruiter retained through Merlin Technical Solutions

Owned the recruiting and client management for the Google account as an

off-site corporate recruiter working as an extension of Google's internal

recruiting infrastructure. Participated in bi-weekly staff meetings with

hiring managers and the recruiting team to determine best recruiting

practices. Supported the Diversity Group within Google. Responsible for

sourcing and recruiting candidates with highly specialized skill sets and

backgrounds

Utilized Deep Web search to identify passive candidates and potential

networks.

Sourced and recruited globally for the Software and Hardware Engineering,

International IT/Operations groups. Interviewed candidates for C#, .NET,

Java/J2EE, C++, Python, Algorithm design/development, high level QA

Engineers/Developers, project managers, Scientific and upper management

roles.

LIGHTBRIDGE INC.

April 2004 to July 2004

Sr. Technical Recruiter (Short-term contract)

Responsible for all technical recruiting efforts at Lightbridge Inc. in

Broomfield CO and supported recruiting for Bellevue WA and Mexico

locations. Sourcing, headhunting, electronic and print ad writing, phone

screens, reference verifications and recommendations to hiring managers

of qualified TELECOM IT, Engineering and Sales candidates. Recruited

DBA'S, SQA testers, switch engineers, project managers, developers,

technical support reps, technical product trainers, telecommunication,

structural, software, product, material, design and other Telecom

specific skill sets and roles.

THE BURGHEAD GROUP

July 1995 to April 2004

Technical Recruiter

Drove the hiring process in high volume/time sensitive environments

partnering with account managers and internal/external stakeholders.

Placed high end technical professionals into contract and full-time

positions within the Banking/Financial, Manufacturing, Entertainment,

Insurance/Benefits and Advertising industries. Effectively recruited IT

and Engineering candidates through Internet research, cold calling,

referrals, and networking.

Responsible for negotiating salary and/or rate, coordinating the

interview process, checking references, extending offers and closing

internal/corporate hires for Burghead. Consistently ranked as the firm's

top revenue producer for permanent placement fees. Earned preferred

vendor status with Lehman Brothers by filling a critical permanent role

within two days that numerous IT search firms had been unable to fill for

almost 9 months.
