Tobyhanna Army Depot (07/01/2012-Present) – IT Specialist/Equipment Programmer
JBLM, Washington
Responsible for programming, configuration, operation, testing, troubleshooting, service, maintenance, and repair of switches, routers,
media convertors, network devices, Internet Controllers, special and standard cables, connectors, hardware and software associated with
multiple operating systems, protocols, computer platforms, and telecommunications systems. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of
network equipment for ResetTeam efforts. SME for the WIN-T, Tactical Internet, and Army Battle Command Systems Data Products in
support of CPS&I Reset operations. Serves as part of engineering team for a multi-regional facility. Trains and provides guidance to
floor technicians on proper installation and troubleshooting of all network devices such as, routers, switches, firewalls, net guardians,
computers, and radio interface equipment. Completes version modifications to Command Post Platform shelters by removing hardware
and mounting equipment, modifying shelter components, configuring and installing equipment. Senior Systems Administrator,
responsible for planning, coordinating, modifying, implementing and troubleshooting to support war-fighter operation locally, overseas

Responsible for JBLM Installation (ILAN/ICAN) maintenance, testing, evaluation and repair of Local area/campus area voice, video,
and data networks including advanced network communication devices for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC). Works with other
civilians, contractors, and military service members in the installation, maintenance and repair of the network infrastructure to maintain
Non-sensitive Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) & Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPR) post wide. Provide a wide
variety of services and equipment including customized prototype communication systems to JBLM tenants. Coordinated, installed, and
migrated Secure Video teleconferencing (SVTC) and Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VOSIP) from I Corps provided services to
NEC provided services, thus making them available to all JBLM. Plan and integrate video, voice, and data systems into LAN/WAN.
Works closely with firewall administrators during installation and maintenance of all network devices to ensure functionality and
configured in accordance with all security policies. Acts as a subject matter expert to co-workers, other installations, and vendors on
video and voice systems installed onto the SIPR network. Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco,
Tanberg Polycom, and other popular network devices. Assisted several other installations in the successful configuration of SVTC
