Contracted to provide Senior Systems Engineering support to multi-client

environment. Hands on working with troubleshooting AIX mainframe issues

with CA back, Windows Servers, VDI/VPC with VMware, Citrix Xen

Server/Center, Instituted a new system state backup system because disk

space on Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2003 R2, Windows 2003, Windows 2000,

and new SEP Environment with specialization to exclusions across multiple

topologies regarding SEP 12. Clients support for Fidelis Care, Fiserv,

Media Plus, Roberts Gordon, Healthworks, HealtheNet, and Independent

Health. Client Support was Citrix Desktop, XenApp, IPad, Macbook, HP/Dell

environment. Hands on working with troubleshooting AIX mainframe, Windows

Servers, VDI/VPC with VMware, Telco Vendor interactions for trouble

shooting Cisco routers, firewalls, Application support for Microsoft

Office, Windows XP, iOS environments that included VPN support (though it

was only in beta testing still during my tenure) iOS support was not just

limited to Ipads and Iphones, support was for Mac's as well, and helpdesk

support for M&T Bank Enterprise wide. Advised HR that this was an

intermittent career choice and advised them I would pro-actively pursue

looking for gainful employment with a company that would embrace me and my

abilities.

Recruited to assist with ERP system that had functional issues with custom

EDI applications. The EDI application was a custom application to take

transactions from web and specialized form orders from several EDI VANs.

This issue initially was believed to be the Infor Enspire ERP, when the

issue I resolved was actually the EDI custom application itself along with

the Web Server platform it was running on. After mapping the transactions

utilizing Lansa's Composer I had all the information necessary to

investigate the trouble spot issues and devise a plan of action to correct

the issues with the custom EDI application. Transferred the transaction

platform data to a SFTP platform. Troubleshooted EDI format issues with

vendors such as Baer, Amerock, Lowe's, and a variety of others utilizing

Virtual testing on Hyper-V and VMware servers. All EDI information was AS2

and XML based. Set new procedures in place to import and extract

information into the ERP system. Old servers were running a mixture of

Windows 2003 / Windows 2008 R2 schemas and had issues with Active

Directory. Implemented new client / server OS integration with Windows

2008 R2 and Windows 7 Pro 64. Support was setup for access via Ipads and

Iphones with custom apps, and purchased apps. Accomplished several changes

to application needs to meet the new architectures. Implemented a more

robust disaster recovery system and plan. Redesigned all communications

equipment off of old T1 trunk and implemented VOIP / Unified Communications

gateway with Microsoft Lync.

Active Directory rebuild and migration from Windows Server 20003 to Windows

Server 2008 R2, Cisco 2991 router, Cisco Pixie 331, VPN, Sonic Firewall,

Barracuda Spam Filter, Barracuda Mail Archiver, Windows SQL Server 2005,

Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Onsite, Microsoft Office 2010. Customized

Recruited to rebuild entire company infrastructure from ground up. AS/400

S30 and Windows 2003/2008 environment. Implemented new client / server

OS's and built connectivity to existing ERP (AS/400) ODBC and network

connectivity. Initially VMware servers ESX 4.1 U1 were in the middle of

consolidation into a VSphere environment. Budget constraints restricted

the move within the company and was asked to a better solution for the data

management of the AS/400 S30 data with vStorage which was problematic.

Maintained 65 VMware workstations on ESXi 4.3. Restructured Hyper V servers

to run redundant services and servers from one platform and the migrations

of the VMware servers to the new Windows environment. Evaluated Dell's

Equallogic SAN solution and recommended it, yet again the budget

constraints would not allow this at the time. Redesigned and solidified

backup procedures from tape to disk from AS/400. Implemented a more robust

email archiving system and integrated it with Exchange 2007 VR5.

Implemented multiple subsystems such as Sharepoint, Solidworks, and other

services to provide faster more reliable service in the manufacturing

process within the company. Redesigned existing cable topography from Cat

3/5 to Cat 6 with a new fiber backbone between the plant. Removed the

Nortel Meridian phone system and replaced it with a Vertical Wave.

Implemented a new helpdesk feature and created a new portal system using

Sharepoint called myEastman, with remote and VPN access.

Nortel Telcom PBX to Wave IP MBX migration Project manager. Nortel Phone

system administration. Network Administration, Project Manager for

rewiring building from existing Cat 3 - 5 /53 to Cat 6. Switch upgrading

from 10/100 to 10/100/1000 VLAN with WiFi integration and support. DRP
