I am looking for a dynamic work environment where I can contribute as both a team
member and leader, while gaining real world work experience. I want to put the skills and
knowledge I have learned while earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies
into practice.

Responsible for using oral and written communication to convey current policy changes,
promotions, and daily tasks to staff. Trains staff by reviewing and revising orientation to
products and sales training materials. Attracts customers by originating display ideas;
following display suggestions and schedules. Promotes sales by demonstrating product
knowledge to customers. Prepare sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and
categorizing sales information. Identifying and investigating customer complaints and
service suggestions.
Producer and Host News Now, CHRY 105.5fm; Toronto, ON 2013-Present
Responsible for hosting one hour of News Now every week. Compose a new, relevant, and
explanatory script for the show. Pitch story ideas on a weekly basis during story meetings.
Organize and set up interviews with relevant contacts, conduct interviews and edit
accordingly.
Social Media Coordinator, CHRY 105.5fm; Toronto, ON 2013 January-November
Responsible for single handedly creating a website, blog, twitter, and facebook page for the
News Now radio show. Took a week's worth of news content and edited and formatted it in
order to create downloadable podcasts. Maintain the social networking, and podcasts on a
weekly basis. Promote the brand of CHRY with a strong online presence, including logos,
social media, and throws on air.
