Owls predation effect on bat species in Beijing area in winters

By collecting and analyzing owl's leftover of food-- bolus in winters, we determined the food composition of

the owls in urban and suburban areas of Beijing by the bones, especially the dental formula of the skulls. Bats

are thought to hibernate during winter, but preyed by owls, which may cause significant decrease of bat

species. Our research aimed to figure out whether owls' predation on bats in winters would affect the

bio-balance and predict quantities of owls and bats in the future.

Methods: ANOVA, SAM, Pearson Correlation, Cross Validation, Robust Multi-Array Average Expression

Measure Normalization. Results: Found 6 important genes (p<0.05) related to AD.
