ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title#1: GPS-GSM integration for enhancement of public transportation ( EMBEDDED SYSTEM ).

Description: This project implements a solution for enhancing public transportation management system based on GPS and GSM. The system consists of IN-Bus module which is equipped with GSM, GPS and Base Station module.

The GSM-GPS based system identifies the location of bus exactly at which

station it has started recently and sends the location of the bus to the

Base station module which then displays the location of the bus on the LCD.

The project is designed with LPC2148 controller which consist of

ARM7TDMI processor and a 16X2 LCD used for display purpose

and an IR pair is also used for counting the no. of persons in the bus.
