Hired to administrating 16 production and over 40 development databases on

IBM AIX and Oracle Enterprise Linux servers in 24/7 production environment

as well as Administrating Oracle E-business suite 11i and R12 on IBM AIX

Unix environment. Projects consisting of the following:

> Upgrade over 50 production and development Oracle databases from 10g

to 11g R2 using DBUA and migrated them to IBM power 7 servers.

> Migrate E-Business Suite application and database to IBM power 7

servers using advance cloning techniques.

> Upgrade E-Business Suite Application Database form 10g to 11gR2.

> Convert E-Business Suite Application Database to new tablespace model

using OATM.

> Upgrade Oracle E-Business Suite Application from version 11i to R12

(12.1.3). Using Oracle Maintenance Wizard, I put together detail

upgrade procedure. I cloned the application and database on new IBM

LPARs and perform the upgrade. The upgrades involves many steps such

as pre-upgrade patches both app and DB, install R12 app by rapidwiz,

Upgrade the 11i application, performs post upgrades steps and

patches, and finally apply rollup patch to 12.1.3

> Apply Financial RPCs and GDFs on EBS R12.

> Patching and upgrading of EBS techstack.

> Deploy and upgrade EBS application JRE.

> Installed and configured Maintenance Wizard for Oracle E-Business

Suite upgrade. Put together all technical documentation.

> Upgrade 40 development databases and 16 production databases from

version 9.2.7 to 10g. Using oracle DBUA. Performed all necessary post

task for 10g CBO.

> Migrate over 56 Databases from IBM AIX Power 5 to Power 6 servers.

> Convert PeopleSoft CRM, HRMS Databases to Unicode.

> Upgrade PeopleSoft CRM, HRMS, and Expense Databases to version 9.1.

> DeployJRE on EBS 11i to use JRE instead of Jinitiator, upgraded Forms

to patch level 19.

> Set up logical and physical backup strategy using Datapump and RMAN.

Based on database size and activity I have set up full, incremental or

incrementally updated backup.

> Install, configure, and upgrade of Revocvery Manager Catalog.

> Install and configuration OEM Oracle Grid Control release 10.2.0.1 up

to 12c.

> Creating Duplicate database using hot backup or RMAN Clone for

development and to perform routine test for disaster recovery purpose.

> Developed shell script to monitor Oracle processes, listeners, file

structures, and errors in alert.log periodically and send alert

message to email and pager.

> Developed shell script to perform purging file base on the retention,

such as purging old trace files, audit file base on the retention

specified.

> Creating and maintaining shell scripts to automate jobs such as

start/stop of databases, reporting long running queries, and errors in

alert log using Unix shell and Crontab

> Provide an ongoing tuning process for Database; adjust SGA, PGA, SQL

tuning using ADDM, AWR, STASPACK, Tuning Advisor, ExplainPlan, SQL

Profile, SQL Baseline.

> Install and configuration Oracle Database and setup initialization

parameters. Oracle Database Versions 11g, 10g, 9i in Unix IBM AIX

(5.2, 5.3, 6.1), Redhat Linux (5.2, 5.5) and Oracle Enterprise Linux

(5.5).

> Install and configure Grid Infrastructure (Oracle Automatic Storage

Management and Oracle restart)for a Standalone Server on OEL and IBM

AIX.
