ZINK Imaging, Inc., http://www.zink.com Director of IT and
Operations 2008 – Present
Since the inception of ZINK, created all corporate IT services
needed to leverage new digital printing technologies into an
on-demand Digital Printing Business, to include:
Direct Sell. Most recently directed the backend IT service
services for ZINK to be able to successfully launch a new
direct sell business model from multiple vendors, including
back-end data storage and ZINK.com (AWS), analytics and
web support for DRTV, DRTV phone coverage, fulfillment
services, credit card processing, sales tax tables, online CRM
system, customer care agents, sales tax filings, and PCI
Compliance.
Managed Services. In 2012, my responsibilities expanded to
include Facilities, HSE and Product Sustainability by applying
the IT managed service model to these other three operations.
Facilities – aligned all facilities service support vendors to
comply with the IT model to include procedures, service
ticketing, maintenance procedures, and a facilities
maintenance calendar. HSE – applied the managed service
model to team up with a vendor, HR, and regulatory agencies
to develop comprehensive standard operating procedures,
hazardous materials contingency plan, and a compliance
calendar. Successfully directed the ZINK Sustainability
Program as well.
Brand Partner. Starting in 2008, created all corporate IT
services in a managed services model and within the first 371
days it took ZINK to bring first product to market, I led the
relocation of the corporate headquarters, provisioned a new
R&D facility, created the ZINK domain with 400+ desktops,
laptops and servers, retrofitted a manufacturing plant
network into the ZINK domain and MPLS, and implemented
a new ERP system. All network, server, application and web
IT services were outsourced, at the cost of less than one FTE.
