Position: Assembler

• Assembles subassemblies, basic computer and mechanical hardware. Organizes and prepares sub assembled

accessories, packages and prepares computer systems for shipment. Produces top-level assemblies in the lean

manufacturing production cells and in batch production processes. Uses and follow work instructions, specifications,

bills of material and process manual to produce top-level assemblies. Aligns, fits, and assembles components parts,

using hand tools, power tools and templates. Documents nonconforming materials and refers to production technician

• Using military standard assembly drawings assembled LCD screens with three film displays, connecting all

connectors, installed pc boards into chassis units using air driven hand tools. Repairs and troubleshooting:

rebuilding digitizers for LCD screens, input of all assembly data into computer based applications.
