I successfully upgraded the Pitney Bowes suite of applications from a legacy version to a recent

• In this position I troubleshoot issues with Siebel applications (8.01, 7.53, 7.0 and 6) this
responsibility includes keeping the application running, implementing solutions for
production issues as well as installing updates.

boxes have a good backup every day.

various business needs using Microsoft Opalis to automate file transfers, start and stop
services, encrypt and decrypt files using 7zip, scheduling sftp and ftps from for moving secure
documents. bank to bank. Installation/upgrade IBM Connect:Direct to IBM/Sterling Commerce,
FTP and other standard industry applications. I worked as part of a team in a large
corporate environment to automate processes that are being done manually or are
required to run without human intervention, saving the company countless hours of
business group and IT personnel work. I regularly have to take an idea from the business
user and design a process using Opalis to automate it (such as verifying the existence of
certain files or other conditions, and moving/FTP-ing, encrypting, decrypting, kicking off
other applications, etc. This required scripting vb/.bat). This position required that I work
with all groups in the company from the end-user to the business-user and outside
vendors alike, as well other IT, change control staff and developers.
I also support a number of applications that I have learned with minimal documentation,
fixing issues with these applications in a reasonable amount of time. I create SharePoint
sites for business entities and handle active directory group permissions, SharePoint
permissions, ftp permission for incoming and outgoing data as well as troubleshoot issues
that arise with in-depth security.
