Electrical engineer with over 12 years experience in the field of secondary electrical

design of high voltage AC transmission and substation system, HVDC transmission

system, project engineering and management.

W orked as Senior design engineer in secondary design of substation, Lead engineer and

Assistant Project Manager with consultants and leading electrical companies like

ALSTOM (T&D) Systems India, British Power International UK in substation, high voltage

switchyards (transmission) wind farms and power plant electrical design.

Experienced in detail secondary electrical design and project management of substation

of voltage levels 400kV, 220kV, 132kV 33kV & 11kV and also in wind farm detailed

secondary design and also HVDC control and protection hardware design for voltage

level up to and including + 500kV. Secondary design include producing AC and DC

protection schemes, proper relay selection both main and auxiliary relays, produce bill of

quantities for the protection cubicle based on customer specification, producing general

arrangement drawings for protection cubicles. Quality assurance of protection cubicles

based on client’s requirement.

Familiar with software’s like AMTECH, CDEGS, ELCAD.

Have the experience of working in India, UK, Middle east and Germany.

substations which included transfo rmers, automatic transfer switches, diesel

generators, cables etc. from 4 different sites at Riyadh, Dammam, Al Ahsa and

Jeddah & also to study the existing electrical network and to check and measure the
