Personal

Took time off between jobs to have and raise my three children. This

opportunity was not only fulfilling on a personal level but also improved

my skills in time management, multi-tasking and organization. In April

2013, I took steps to found a first of its kind advocacy group for

Involuntary Breath Holding Spells. In May 2013, legislation was sent to

Harrisburg to recognize July 14th as Involuntary Breath Holding Spells

Awareness Day, this legislation passed the House on September 23, 2013, and

is circulating through Congress to gain support for national awareness. I

continue to maintain an awareness website, and hope to one day help fund

research for a better understanding of the condition, as well as further

the education of doctors and medical staff in the area of Involuntary

Breath Holding Spells.
