JOB DESC & EXPERIENCES SUMMARY

. Review the painting/coating application procedures to ensures that the

detailed procedure relevant to the application and inspection of

painting, coating, insulation and fireproofing in line with Project

specifications.

. Record full details of all coatings materials to be used from the

selected Manufacturers(s) including product data sheets and safety

sheets, prior to the commencement of work.

. Ensure that environmental conditions (range of temperature and relative

humidity control methods) and time restriction (between surface

preparation and first coating and/or subsequent coatings) for the

painting/coating application are suitable to meet the requirement of the

approved painting/coating system, prior to the commencement of

painting/coating application;

. Ensure that the Contractor keep up to date calibration certificates for

all test or measurement equipment.

. Ensure that proper quality control inspections are implemented and

utilized by QC personnel.

. Maintain a comprehensive record of coating/painting activities and

provide feedback to QA/QC coordinator on progress/status, repair rates of

damaged coating/painting and non-conformities reports (NCR).

. Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation

requirements and type of insulation required (Heat Conservation, Cold

Conservation, Personnel Protection, and Acoustical/Noise Control).

. Conduct surface inspection of all lines for insulation as per isometric

drawing.

. Check the paint report of all lines for insulation for assurance that the

line is already hydro tested and accepted by client before proceeding to

insulation works.

. Provide details and total area required for PFP (Passive Fire Proofing).

. Manage and supervise the sub-Contractors activity for insulation and PFP

works.

. Control and maintain material stock; including material requisition,

incoming material inspection and storage condition.
