Functional Testing is the main body of Requirements Based Testing. This testing will
be done by the software test team and is used to insure that the software meets all
functional requirements and design parameters at all levels. This testing will consist of
running test procedures on a target system. These testing activities will be formal and
produce artifacts in the form of test procedures, test cases, and test reports.
